Emergency Cover and the SOS Tab

Raise an emergency with one tap, what happens next, and when to call 108 or 112 instead.

1

Open the SOS tab

Tap SOS in the bar at the bottom. 108 and 112 are always on screen, along with the PeakAge helpline and your city coordinator.

2

Raise the emergency

On the city coordinator card, tap Raise emergency, then Yes, raise it. This logs the emergency and calls your coordinator.

Only want to talk? Tap Just call instead.

3

Your coordinator takes over

You see Waiting for your coordinator to accept it. Keep your phone close. You get a notification when they accept.

Your coordinator arranges what is needed, medical or not, and keeps you updated.

4

Raised it by mistake?

Tap Raised by mistake? Cancel it. A cancelled emergency does not count.

Rules and limits

  • Emergency Cover gives 1 emergency every 30 days for the whole family, medical or non-medical.
  • An emergency counts only once your coordinator accepts it.
  • With none left, you can still raise one. It is never refused, and it is settled at your next payment.
  • Extra emergencies are ₹2,000 each, can be bought ahead, and never expire. Tap Buy extra on the SOS tab.
